The Basics
Dice rolls are independent, have Equal Probability (~17%).
(1 - probability) = probability of not happening
Rerolls
Reroll 1's = 17% increase dmg
Full Rerolls more effective on worse hit/wound skills
Modifiers
Rerolls better on worse stats
Stacking Buffs
Buffs stack multiplicatively. Scarab occults with buffs are 4x more deadly
Expected Results
We roll a LOT of dice. Unexpected results WILL occur
Chaining high probability plays can still be a less than 50% Chance
0.8*0.8*0.8*0.8 = 40%
Bad rolls happen -- Look for ways you could have minimized unnecessary risk
