The idea that everyone just instantly goes along with the idea of dancing to calm the volcano and starts to have fun is very WarioWare, gotta say. It was cool seeing everyone come together against a common threat, definitely makes it feel more final boss-like. I don't really vibe with the idea of Wario becoming a volcano, though. Seems a bit weak, idk Stage itself is alright, although I feel like it doesn't follow up as well from the previous two final stages we've had that felt more climactic (Deluxe) or was just much more fun (Bug). It's still good, just that the last ones are hard acts to follow, I guess. Microgames are pretty usual fare, feels like this stage might actually be one of the lighter ones, with Wario's microgames generally being some of the more dangerous ones. Pin Drop I don't think is that hard but I definitely don't know what to expect as much as I probably should. I feel like I'll understand that better as I play more. Fishin' Hole wasn't responding as well near the end; felt like I was actually dropping the joycons too quickly and then having to simulate some kind of drop motion. Rock, Paper, Scissors will never not be a weak point for me. It takes me so long to compute what I need to throw out because of all these microgames asking you to tie or to lose as well as changing hands. Really messes with me and it's combined with Hand Model because of course it is. Had an oddly good go at it this run given my lack of confidence on it. It's definitely nice to see the dance company back for more after all these years. Does feel a little strange how closely it resembles the previous one. The improved motion tech definitely forces people to be more involved than before, which is definitely good but idk having the true final be Smooth Moves' final again... ehhh. Music is good though, it's still definitely competent and having the formations change between difficulties is a cute touch that helps it stand out more. I feel like I've become more critical since I'm playing through this one particularly early, but I do like it. Typically everything I've not mentioned is up to WarioWare's usual high standards. I feel like this game is rather close in quality to Smooth Moves, with this one maybe just edging out the victory. Certainly enjoyed it for a game I feel may have been rushed in places; pretty surprised to see a game like this out so soon after the previous.
