This curio cabinet had some structurally issues with the legs, but the finish was in great shape! After making the necessary repairs, I refreshed the finish by cleaning with lacquer thinner and then applying gel stain. I sealed everything with Osmo’s polyx for a durable finish. I decided to line the backing with a beautiful wallpaper from Rifle Paper Co. I think it compliments the rich brown of the finish. For a final touch, I pinstriped the door with gold wax for a subtle accent.
