Dr. Melinda Knuth, our esteemed presenter, brings a wealth of expertise derived from her numerous studies on water conservation in nurseries and landscapes, sustainable practices in floriculture, and purchasing intent at retail. She has published innovative eye-tracking and eye-movement studies regarding retail signage and the influence of water conservation signage on purchase intent. In this presentation, she will specifically address how growers implementing water conservation practices can strategically market their products at premium prices and consumer perceptions of water-conserving practices. Dr. Knuth received GPN Magazine’s 40 under 40 award in 2021 and was a 2017 AmericanHort Scholar.
