How to paint realistic watercolor flowers. Now that we have the foundation of a fun, loose watercolor lily (below), it’s time to add in those realistic details. I love to have a mix of realism and modern watercolor in my style but I have definitely been leaning more realistic lately and I don’t hate the results!
