Today’s painting shows off the beauty of Korea.
I draw Buyongjeong in the back garden of Changdeokgung Palace.
Buyongjeong Treasure No. 1763.
Buyong means lotus flower
The biggest feature is that it is shaped like a cross when viewed from the south side of the pond.
It shows us various appearances depending on where we look.
I really wanted to draw the delicate and beautiful Buyongjeong Pavilion.
I had always thought that our buildings were somewhat shabby compared to Western buildings, but after seeing Buyongjeong, I stopped thinking that way.
I felt proud and happy the whole time I was drawing it.
The material wasn't easy to draw, but it was very rewarding.
Challenge anything! Are you going to do it?^^
