I find making bookmarks slightly addictive and great fun. Not only are bookmarks enjoyable to make and are a lovely gift to give, they are a low pressure way of practicing new techniques and trying out new paints or materials. After all, if it doesn't work out, you have only lost a tiny piece of paper. If they do work out, you have a beautiful bookmark and you have learnt something new, so it is a double win.
In this quick demonstration I will share a beautiful wet in wet way of painting loose florals. It is quick to learn and once you have you can use it for beautiful blossom paintings or bouquets or wherever your imagination takes you.
