The only sensible way to paint the Milky Way must surely be to use white paint. From a purist's perspective, then, what other options are available to the watercolourist who wishes to paint the night sky? In this demonstration, Peter will be exploring how to create stars and cosmic clouds without using any white paint at all (he's probably wishing he had, though...) A full set of tutorials on painting skies are featured in Part 4 of the 'Watercolour for Beginners' DVD series: Painting Skies. Available in both PAL and NTSC formats Order online from www.peterwoolley.co.uk Want to improve your watercolours, or learn the basics?
