In this watercolour tutorial I talk you through a painting of one of ourRobins here in the UK

This tutorial is equally suitable for beginners as it is more advanced watercolourists.

I go over my painting materials and colour choices, and the reasons behind them. I give a breakdown of how to approach the drawing. Then we dive into the painting!

In this particular tutorial I focus on a simple two part process. The first stage is keeping the washes very light and simple, let this dry. Then next we focus on painting simple shadow shapes.

Keep it simple and have fun! Always a good motto with watercolours.
