For the last 5 years I have been living in a van, a journey which started alone and for the last few years has been alongside my girlfriend, Rachel. We spent almost a year living in the van full time and travelling the Scottish Highlands, with a goal in the back of our minds - to ultimately find, and buy, a plot of land that we may someday be able to build our own little off grid home on.
This video takes you back through that journey, visiting and failing to find the right plot - which is something that finally fell into place this week.
I haven't yet decided how much of the next steps I'm going to share; but in one way or another, in detail that doesn't compromise our sanity or security, I thoroughly look forward to bringing you with us.
