We got LOST on a MOUNTAIN in MAURITIUS!!!
Vic and I decided to climb the "Chat et Souris" (Cat and mouse) mountain on the east of Mauritius and we got completely LOST. We spent almost two hours walking through valleys and banana fields trying to find the path. How could we complain though? We were lost but we had an amazing view of Mauritius' east coast! After countless wrong turns we finally found the real path and started making our way to the top of the mountain.
Once we got to the summit, our persistence was rewarded by an AMAZING view of blue lagoons, more mountains and fields!
What a climb it was!
The next day we decided to take things easy and go on a small road trip in the North-East of Mauritius. We drove past some ruins and decided to stop and go have look! Once again our curiosity was rewarded!! The ruins were amazing and we made some new friends!!!
