After the first Clan Meet at the Lake District ended with an unfortunate pheasant altercation, we decided to give it another go and descended on the beautiful Lakes last October 2021 - just in time for some of the worst floods the area has seen.
After putting it to the vote over on patreon, the majority decision was to cancel and reschedule, but a hardcore group decided they were going anyway, so I went up to join them - we could sit in the hotel bar and enjoy ourselves if rain stopped play right?!
Thankfully Best Biking Roads guru Simon Weir was with us to plot a suitable route and guide us through the stunning roads, and despite an electrical issue on a GS causing poor old Andy to leave us, we all had a great day - even managing a stop at the Tan Hill Inn!
