In this video, we show you how we took a pair of 2012 Cummins 6.7 diesel truck engines and rebuilt them to power our 78' aluminum yacht, Tangaroa.
These weren’t marine engines—yet.
So we had to marinize them ourselves, and that meant replacing just about everything: pistons, cam shafts, heat exchangers, wiring harnesses, ECUs, exhaust manifolds, turbos, transmissions, and more.
