【My review on Monkey Canopy】
A lot of youngsters, families, and event groups like this place. It's great for a company trip, wedding, or any huge event as well since there's a huge ballroom in this resort.
We booked our basic rooms around RM400+, and upgraded ones cost the same. The upgraded rooms are similar just that it comes with a swimming pool outside the hallway.
The resort room is a 10/10 for me. The air conditioning was freezing, but we still enjoyed it. Each room comes with three key cards, 2 for guests and 1 for the room’s electricity. You get 2 cards, unlike most hotels these days that only give you one, unlike the good old days. But this hotel actually does. One of you can sleep in as much as you want, while the early bird heads to breakfast without the need to meet up. I love this… but ya we still managed to lose one of them. :)
Room is clean, tidy, and spacious. The design isn’t the usual boring style, it’s luxurious and modern. And I absolutely love this. From the window you can watch what’s happening outside, people walking, bungee cars driving, which I find entertaining. I know it’s quite a weird hobby AHAHAH, but I love seeing people outside. The soundproofing is great, you can’t hear anything from outside, which honestly kind of scares me since I need white noise to sleep :) One more plus point ! the smart TV in every room *chef kiss*
At night, Wilson told me that no one was sleeping in the next room. I was scared (again) maybe that’s why I couldn’t sleep well that night.
This resort has refreshing outdoor entertainment concepts, like VR game studio, the longest go kart track (which I really wanted to try but didn't), and a snow park. ( (I know the ones I’m familiar with are either in Genting or iCity and the new one in Seremban ) The floating restaurant up there is just not boring, and the fact that it’s something special (design and 仪式感）attracts me. For people who prefer to like to hunt for new activities, this resort is totally made for you. Everything is just a few minutes' walk away is a huge plus.
The restaurants are very limited . Prices are on the higher side, but the atmosphere and environment is lovely .
We didn’t get to experience much of the games because we arrived at almost 4 pm. I really wanted to try the VR, but didn’t get the chance.
If you ask me whether if i would visit again? Probably not because 1 day is enough to walk around everywhere, but to really play, you need 2 days to experience all the entertainment places.
Overall, the resort was fun :)) 9/10 !

Oh my eyes... This week I’ve been rushing to publish the video before the Chinese New Year holiday. My eyes are getting so dry.
Some parts could’ve been cut out, but I didn’t because my editing software doesn’t have an audio snapping feature. If I delete certain clips, the audio gets completely out of sync. So I covered those parts with random thing. Why not export and re-edit? Because exporting takes time, quality gets affected. Audio out of sync? Imagine like you see what I’m having for breakfast, but then the voiceover randomly starts talking about, “So anyway, this is my cat.” The first second clip is fine, but after the next 20 minutes are just a comedy show.
I had so many ideas for the edit, but the audio syncing issues made things more difficult. And what makes my task more different from the others is I edit captions as I go and record the voiceover while following the caption timeline. I often get random bursts of inspiration while editing, so I can’t risk the moments.
Rating time!! I rate my edit 6/10. There’s room for improvement. sorry for the volume spike too.. the voiceover still feels awkward. There are a few parts with awkward silence in the video. Please don’t mind , I was embarrassed too :)
Sorry if the captions are sometimes a bit random, or if some parts aren’t translated correctly or have some typos. I might have overlooked some parts.
Bear with my pronunciation in the video. I’m aware of some random voice overs that duplicate out of nowhere, and the sound effects often overlap with the background music, making them very soft or cannot be heard. Here I guess I would say nobody is perfect ::)
I’m honestly so tired of editing then exporting the video over and over again. So here's the final one.
CAPCUT I'm begging, please improve:))) you’re really great, in terms of price and user friendliness. Honestly, it's because other software isn’t too affordable for me :) So I get what I paid for :)
