Have you ever had a meal of Ethiopian food? If it was your first time, did you immediately then have a "new favorite food?" :) This is my family's favorite meal to have together, and so it was only fitting that we try and find the nearest Ethiopian restaurant at which to celebrate Li and I's wedding.*
So good actually that we found it worth visiting twice in the space of just a few days (we're making this video on the second visit), and it is with great pleasure that Grandma, Mom and Dad, and Li and myself welcome you to join us for a family FEAST tonight here in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I would LOVE to know if you have a restaurant serving Ethiopian food near you, in a city near you anyways, and if you have had it (and of course, if you loved it!) - please leave me a message in the comments, I would love to learn a bit more of how widespread this cuisine is (especially in the USA!).
I was so happy to find not one but three Ethiopian restaurants in the greater Detroit (including Ann Arbor :) which is kinda far outside...) area, and it was definitely worth the drive to make it out here tonight.
Thank you for joining us and thank you for all the wonderful messages! See you back in Thailand next week!! For now, do GOOD.
**We are here enjoying finally having the chance to celebrate with both of our families in person!! We've been married now for two years...
