Incredible medieval architecture, history, culture, food and stunning nature trails, a bustling university population... Maastricht has it all! Located in the southeastern region of the Netherlands, it has a very unique culture of its own - for example, alongside Dutch, many locals also speak the Maastrichtian dialect which I think is really cool!
Maastricht is super easy to get to from Amsterdam (3 hours by train) and is perfect for a weekend getaway option :)
