I previously uploaded a more recent adaptation of this dark Stevenson tale (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9DdxkfBgqw), and now here is the ever-reliable Robert Forrest's adaptation from the 1990s.
This story was left unfinished at the time of Stevenson's death, so one advantage to having different adaptations is that they have different endings based on the dramatist's sense of where Stevenson was going with his narrative...
