Weird Ancient Statue that can stand up and sit down at Bao Ha Temple, Vinh Bao, Hai Phong, Vietnam
Located about 40km from the center of Hai Phong city, Vinh Bao district is the farthest mainland district of the city of red phoenix flowers. In addition to the relics of Trang Trinh Nguyen Binh Khiem temple, this place is also famous for the statue that knows how to stand up and sit down in the ancient Bao Ha temple in Bao Ha village, Dong Minh commune.
Just go to the beginning of Bao Ha village, the sound of chainsaws sawing wood and chisels sounds because this place is a traditional village of carving statues. Along the two sides of the village road, piles of wood are piled up waiting to be shaped by talented craftsmen.
The statue of Great King Ly Linh Lang in Bao Ha Temple is carved about 1.7m high, with a handsome and handsome face, his head is wearing a Binh Thien hat, his body is wearing a Long Can shirt and sitting on the throne, holding a text in his hand. Next to the statue are 4 beauties standing in service, in front are mandarins and martial arts officers standing in adoration.
The statue that can stand up and sit down is a unique and rare creation of the villagers carving Bao Ha statue. Locals consider the statue a village treasure.
The secret of the movement of the statue of Great King Ly Linh Lang lies in the door of the harem. The ancient sculptors skillfully combined the art of sculpting and the art of shallow puppetry, creating a push-pull transmission system connecting the door with the foot joints of the statue....
