We're in for an incredibly weird one today. In today's episode of Weird Music, we're returning to episode.2 of the show, when we took a dive into Earth 2: Special Low Frequency Version by... Earth. The incredible long-form drone-rock album that melts your brain with its incredible layers of metallic fuzz. In the video, we briefly mentioned its namesake likely being sourced from the release of Environments 2: Tintinnabulation - Special Low Frequency Version by... No Artist. An experimental album that took an original 1970 recording of computer generated bell tones, and slowed the entire thing down. What we have is a truly hypnotising and entrancing album experience that slowly and patiently unfolds to reveal a world of sonic low-end textures. I've been meaning to review this one for ages, and never got around to it until recently so... here we are.
