Weird Stuff in An Abandoned Mine

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This neat mine surprised us with quite a bit. I never expected to find a vehicle chassis inside of a mine, but I suppose I've seen weirder things... They were most likely using the vehicle engine for either an electric generator or for a compressor. While this small mine is relatively easy to access, it seems to have been mostly untouched by collectors and vandals. This site was littered with evidence of work having been done in the 1970's. There was an interesting mix of old and new. Originally, the mine dates back to the late 1800s, but I presume most of the work was done in the 1910s or 1920s. Sadly, some of the workings are now blocked by a dangerous section of bad ground. We attempted to find a route around this collapse, but to no avail.
