“How does it feel to be a woman in the world today?”
Two weeks ago, around International Women’s Day, I was asked this looming question in a rather philosophical conversation with someone I know. Ever the inquirer, he was interested to hear my perspective, specifically with the recent tense socio-political climates in mind.
Long story short, I ultimately said I’d get back to him on it. This video is the result of that.
Characterizations and the plight of being a woman are articulately expressed over and over in modern media. So, to me, the real stages of “womanhood” became clear quite quickly.
Here’s to ALL women of the world, specifically those fighting for their basic human rights every single day.
