Blaze Bayley is possibly the most divisive person in the history of Iron Maiden, with some fans strongly disliking The X Factor and Virtual XI, the two Iron Maiden albums released with Blaze, and others considering him the most charismatic vocalist in Iron Maiden, even more so than Bruce Dickinson. And this let's take a look at Blaze Bayley's back story before joining Iron Maiden, his time in Wolfsbane, and hopefully answer the questions of why did Steve Harris and others choose Blaze Bayley, and wether the fan's perception of the two albums released with Blaze would differ if the band chose a different singer.
