After hitching a ride with a jovial CSX employee, we hiked down to the banks of a free flowing river in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia for some early spring musky fishing. I was tagging along with Sam of @sgangling to one of his fishing spots. The water temperature started at about 46F and rose to 52F throughout the day. Muskies were spread throughout the river in slower pools both deep and shallow. Most action occurred before noon.
