I’m Dave Shrimpton, a passionate analog photographer honoured to win the BJP Portrait of Britain Award and currently showcasing my work at "Dimbola" the home of Julia Margaret Cameron on the Isle of Wight, the birthplace of creative portraiture.
Over the years I've worked with some incredible people using the Large Format & Wet Plate Collodion analogue process and have often been asked to share what I do and how I do it here on YouTube.
So, this is Episode 1, an introduction to myself, the cameras, lenses, images and methods I use that I'll be showcasing in future episodes.
