To celebrate the 40th anniversary of YouTuber Kaya’s Gogo and her husband Zvidzai Ushe, we embark on a trip to the stunning Matobo Hills. We stay at the picturesque Matobo Hills Lodge, using it as a base to explore the National Park in search of rhinos, visit the historical Matabele Caves (used by the Ndebele during the 1896 war to store water pots), meet the talented Matobo women renowned for their architectural paintings, and attend the unveiling of a mural by renowned historian Pathisa Nyathi.
