It was a much anticipated playoff series and Game 1 between the Canucks & Oilers in Round 2 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs. An early power play opened the scoring for the Oilers by Hyman and Ekholm doubled the score to end the first. Joshua cut the lead in half but the Oilers made it 4-1. The mood in the building started changing until Lindholm’s goal made it 4-2. The 3rd period would go down as one of the best in recent Canucks history! JT Miller made it a one goal game and Zadorov tied the game 4-4! The building was alive and erupted until Garland made it 5-4 right after which sent the building into a frenzy!
