In this video, I visit the little town of Entiat on the Columbia River in Washington State. I do an en plein air painting from a beautiful spot on the river looking at the and distant hills on a cold winter day. I demonstrate my approach to painting a plein air with a focus on capturing the light and the initial drawing and turpentine wash.
