Happy International Women's Day!
Viking Women and the way the Vikings treated their women is always a hot topic, so this is a little video sharing some of the runestones and archaeology that shows us the ways Norse women were viewed and placed in society.
Did they have more rights than we think? Could they fight in medieval battles, were the Vikings feminist? Could they own property, could they buy and sell as they wanted as traders, and did they have a role in Norse religion? Let's find out together!
