Hot Water Cornbread Ingredients
1 Cup Yellow or White Corn Meal (Yellow is my preference)
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tsp Sugar
2TBSP Butter
Hot Water- Add a little at a time to hydrate the cornmeal. Should make a slight sticky dough.
Vegetable Oil for frying- 1/4 inch to cover bottom of skillet
**Tip keep hands dry in between making cornbread patties to keep dough from sticking to your hands**
