WHAT I LEARNED WHILE MAKING MY FIRST RESIN DOMINOES SET | HOW TO MAKE RESIN DOMINOES
Hi ?? I purchased a DIY Resin Dominoes Mold from Amazon. I thought this would be a quick and fast project thinking that I was pouring resin into small rectangle cavities... "what could go wrong?" I thought!
A lot can go wrong, and I am grateful for the project because it was a great learning experience. I was tempted to give up multiple times, but I told myself I had to keep going to the end.
In this resin dominoes tutorial video, I will show you how I created my first DIY resin domino game pieces set, and I will share with you what I learned so that you can create your own custom dominoes set!

?Some things I learned:
? The quality of the resin mold does matter! The resin mold I am using was very inexpensive and thin, and it could not hold the weight of the resin on its own. Also, the mold did not flatten out with the weight of the resin, and the dotted side of the Dominoes has a curve.
? I didn't expect the mold to hold so much resin! I ended up using 24 ounces of resin for this project!
? Avoid using heat with resin molds, if possible! While I have used heat successfully in past projects, this mold project did not like the heat. I had to tear the mold to release the resin, and I threw the mold in the trash after demolding the resin.
