I think that Germany’s odds at winning the Second World War would be noticeably greater, had they allied with China, instead of Japan. This is actually somewhat plausible to happen, and is perhaps the better option for the Germans, as this would result in no Pearl Harbor, so Germany and the United States of America are less likely to be at war directly. Perhaps, if China joined the Axis, they are also likely to join Operation Barbarossa, as they would like to reclaim Outer Manchuria, Mongolia, and Tuva, at the expense of the Soviet Union. Japan was a historic ally of Great Britain, so they could join the Allies, which would be really cursed, yet possible. So, why didn’t Germany ally with China? And what would have happened if they did? ▬ LINKS ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Book - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CTHSKVWP Discord Server - https://discord.gg/jE48DHSGG9 Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/RewritingHistory/membership ▬ Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 00:00 - Video Intro 00:49 - Why didn't Germany Ally China 02:22 - How could Germany Ally China 05:01 - Japan Strikes South 07:11 - Prelude to WW2 08:48 - Germany invades the USSR 11:58 - France and Britain declare on Germany 18:27 - China joins the Axis 22:28 - Surrender and Peace Treaty
