The Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal duo was one of, if not the most unstoppable duo in the history of the NBA. Luckily for the rest of the league, but unfortunately for Los Angeles, the tandem prematurely split up for a plethora of reasons. Shaq was able to win one more ring alongside Dwyane Wade in Miami, while Kobe eventually strung together 3 finals appearances and 2 championships later in the decade, but nonetheless, there will always be a "What If" situation regarding what would have happened if Kob & Shaq stuck it out for the rest of their careers.
