This is the 17th video in the series 'What If.. Model Kits Fantasy Box Art' series. Imaginary model kits that I wish had been made when I was a kid growing up in Britain in the 1970s.
This video features imaginary kits from Gerry Anderson's first live action TV show ' UFO'. There have been several kits during the 50+ years since the show was made. Several kits from Bandai and Imai that focused on gimmicky action features including firing missiles (whether the subject in question had weaponry or not!). Garage kits, some at studio-scale of the actual VFX models. There have been some nice die-cast metal toys. So spacecraft, aircraft and vehicles have been available. But there have been no decent, affordable plastic model kits.
I would have loved there to have been kits when growing up. This video features imaginary,.
