What if Obi-Wan was Framed for the Jedi Temple Bombing? Let’s explore the depths of it in the video. Anakin and Ahsoka look over the evidence one last time before confronting the suspect, Letta Turmond. Neither one of them can still believe what had happened. This woman, disenfranchised from the war, had taken a drastic act of protest, bombing the Jedi Temple. Not only that, but also turning her husband Jackar Bowmani into a living bomb. But while they found Letta and have her in custody, they cannot discount the possibility that she might have had help. After all, someone might have provided Letta the nanodroids or even alerted her when to detonate the bombs. The clones are already searching for any signs of these droids still within the temple, leaving them with the job of interrogating Letta. Taking a deep breath, the two steel themselves and make their way inside. The prisoner is bound to a chair, but looks up at them defiantly. Anakin: Letta, we’re here to talk. Letta: So talk, I’ve got nothing to say. Ahsoka: You know we can’t leave until we get answers. No matter what you feel about the Jedi, this was an act of terrorism. You could face the death penalty for this. But if you help us, we can speak on your behalf. We need to know, are there any more nanodroids in the Temple? Letta: How should I know? I only had enough for Jackar. If there are more, then my contact would have handled them separately. Anakin: And who is this contact? Letta: You think they would give me their name? I don’t know. Even if I did, you Jedi couldn’t handle it. Anakin: That is for us to decide. Now, you don’t have a name but you must know something about them. Letta: Are you really that blind? He’s one of you! One of your precious Jedi Masters. Ahsoka: What? Which one? Letta: Don’t know and I don’t care. They want to keep it a secret. No doubt they wish to keep their seat on the Jedi Council. The two share a look, their eyes widening in shock. Then they glance at Letta, wondering if she’s bluffing or perhaps trying to scare them. They certainly hope so. A member of the Jedi Council has fallen so far as to do this? But before they can even process the implications, their comlinks buzz and one of the clones reports they found trace amounts of nanodroids, right in Obi-Wan Kenobi’s room. By the time the two get back, they find Obi-Wan being led away by a pair of Coruscant Guard with Commander Fox explaining he will be held in the city prison while the investigation is done. Anakin protests, saying that the droids might be planted or he might be a target, but the Coruscant Guard refuses to budge. Even as the entire Jedi Council protests, insisting Obi-Wan must be investigated by his peers, the military are not interested in hearing this. They say they have strict orders to keep Obi-Wan detained. They point out how if Obi-Wan were investigated by the Jedi, it can appear biased and a military trial can ensure impartiality. However, this does little to satisfy the Jedi Order, much less Obi-Wan when he hears that Tarkin is in charge of the prosecution. Rather than wait for them to investigate, Obi-Wan decides to take matters into his own hands. In the dead of night, he steals a keycard using the Force and slips out. However, it isn’t long before his empty cell is discovered and a search is called. He barely makes it out of the detention facility when a Coruscant gunship appears, shining its searchlights on him. Several clones immediately open fire upon him. The Jedi dashes through the streets, trying to lose them in the city but the Coruscant Guard are not so easy to shake. The gunship follows closely, risking dangerous maneuvers to stay on his trail. He can hear the radio support, giving his coordinates. This makes his movements more erratic as he grows more desperate. And then at last, he makes a mistake. He makes a wrong turn and finds himself in an alleyway. But as the gunship zeroes in on him, a trio of shadows appear from the roofs, firing blasters at the gunship before a fourth fires a rocket launcher. It doesn’t hit the ship, but forces them to take evasive action. Once the gunship is gone, the figures drop down and reveal themselves. Droids, three commando droids and Kelani. Kelani: General, please this way before your friends return. Obi-Wan hesitates, but sees the gunship turning back and starting to fire at them once again. The commando droid with the rocket launcher tries to fire again but is struck by a blaster bolt and crumples to the ground. Cursing, Obi-Wan follows the droid as they disappear into the shadows. Kelani leads them to a shuttle docked nearby and flies him to safety. Before he realizes it, he is boarding a CIS dreadnought and when the gunship doors open, he’s shocked to see Dooku standing before him. Obi-Wan: Dooku, I certainly hope you are not expecting a thank you. Dooku: Oh no, I only expect you #starwars #starwarswhatif #obiwankenobi #obiwan #clonewars
