Attack on Titan is just one of those series. It has massive flesh-mechs, it has action, it has music, it has character depth and heart. It seems sometimes that everyone in the series has their own motivations, with Eren seeking freedom for himself and his people, with Zeke seeking relief for his people and the world. The Marleyeans seeking revenge on the Eldians, the Eldians seeking forgiveness and acceptance, there are as many reasons to fight as there are people fighting. But what it all boiled down to was the Founding Titan. Serving as the very center of the series, the McGuffin everyone was after, and the object that ultimately would decide who got what who wanted. But I can’t help but wonder what might have happened if Zeke had managed to control the Founding Titan instead.
