Through this video, let's understand what is Fermentation and Distillation Process which play a vital role to create alcohol.
Fermentation is a biochemical process. Yeast consumes sugars, and produces alcohol and carbon dioxide (CO2), just like we eat food and produce “crap”.
Distillation is a separation process, where substances are separated based on the difference in volatilities, meaning the difference in boiling points.
If something boils at 90 degrees, and the other substance boils at 50 degrees. You heat the column to 60 degrees, for example, the one with a low boiling point will evaporate, and you capture it on the top, and the one with a higher boiling point will remain at the bottom, and there goes your separation
