*What is Sample and Hold ?*
Sample and Hold Circuit is an integral part of any analog to digital conversion. It is also known as the track and hold.
It consist of two inputs: 1) Analog input and 2) Control input
Through control input, the sample and hold commands are given.
In sample mode (when sample command is given), it tracks the input signal. And when hold command is given, it holds the last sample value during the tracking.
During this hold mode, the ADC can perform the analog to digital conversion.
*Basic Sample and Hold Circuit:*
The basic sample and hold circuit consist of switch and hold capacitor. The switch can be implemented using BJT, JFET or MOSFET. Along with that to remove the dependancy of source impedance ( the impedance of the input) and load impedance (ADC input impedance) on the circuit, the input and output buffers are used.
Such architecture of the Sample and Hold is known as the open-loop architecture. (as there is no feedback from output to input side)

5) Feedthrough Attenuation Ratio
