After being acquired by Red Bull in 2005 and rebranded as Red Bull Salzburg, the football club formerly known as SV Austria Salzburg became so dominant that it seemed as though the rest of the Austrian Bundesliga might as well give up.
Following ten straight Austrian Bundesliga titles though, Red Bull Salzburg missed out to Sturm Graz last season, and are currently fourth in the table this season, having already crashed out of the UEFA Champions League.
