If you're an adult looking to start learning how to play the cello, chances are you've been doing some research. When I was reading up on the cello before getting started, I kept running by the same sentiments over and over again. I've picked out 4 in particular that - while I agree with them - are actually more nuanced for the adult learner. So here are my top four things they don't tell you when you start learning the cello.
