So, when you think of Egypt, you think of the Pyramids of Giza and maybe the Valley of the Kings, but it is so much more than that. I spent a week traveling around this amazing country with iEgypt and I was not disappointed. Here's what to do in Egypt for a week!
However, Egypt is not without its issues. If you’re not used to insane heat, haggle culture, or having to cover yourself, it can be intense. So, with that in mind here is my ultimate 7-day Egypt itinerary, containing everything you need to know.

How Much Time Should You Spend in Giza?
I would recommend spending no more than one day in Giza.
Make sure to always have cash on hand as even if they say they accept cards, the machine might not work and you'll need to pay in cash anyway.
Tips for Visiting the Pyramids of Giza
The men walking around with whistles that seem official ARE NOT. Also, consider skipping the museum when visiting in the summer.

Day Two - Luxor
Luxor Sunrise Hot Balloon Ride
Is Cairo Safe?
At times, it can be unsafe, so make sure to keep your wits about you. You can also choose to travel with a private guide at all times so you don't have to worry as much.
Day Three-Six - Nile River Cruising
You can choose between having a more intimate experience aboard a Dahabiya (traditional sailboat) or staying on a larger cruiseship.
The cruise would cost about 300-600 USD for 5 days while the Dahabiya could cost anywhere from 800 USD to 3,000.
Mostly everything is included on these boat tours, including food, drinks, and possibly excursions.
Some of the excursions we did while on our Dahabiya cruise included:
