"What Waits Below" is a gripping science-fiction adventure set in the mysterious depths of Central America's caves. The US military, testing a novel radio transmitter for submarine communication, faces an unexpected crisis when one transmitter vanishes without a trace. A specialized team, comprising soldiers led by the resolute Major Elbert Stevens and cave experts under the guidance of the seasoned Rupert 'Wolf' Wolfsen, including the astute scientist Leslie Peterson, embarks on a perilous mission to unravel the mystery.
