For those of you that don’t know my backstory I started my Tumbler making journey shortly after my brother passed away. Sleep didn’t come easy during that time so I would stay up at night and watch YouTube. I came across a tumbler tutorial and decided I am going to do this! That night I ordered everything that I needed in order to start making tumblers, I instantly fell in love with the craft and knew this was the creative outlet that I needed.
My brother passed away at the young age of 28 years old. He was a phenomenal jetski racer, drummer, and dirt biker. He lived life full throttle in everything that he did. He also had an incredible tattoo down his right arm. After he passed away, we had someone re-create his tattoo in a digital file. The first tumbler I ever made I put that tattoo on via waterslide.
Fast-forward about a year, I had been talking about wanting to rebrand my business formally “Bountiful Crafts” to a phrase that my brother said often “Whatever’s Clever“. I kept putting it off and never actually moved forward with it. Christmas rolled around and my husband surprised me with a complete rebrand of my company. He had the bottle with the scroll created based off of the tattoo that was on my brother’s arm with the name Whatever’s Clever on the scroll. He also had a website completely built for my new company! To say I was surprised would be a complete understatement. It was one of the best gifts that I’ve ever received.
So, this tutorial brings everything full circle for me. It represents my brother’s tattoo and my company that brings me so much joy where I can proudly honor him throughout.
