I've been having a hard time venturing into the outdoors since summer closed. Nature is usually my sanctuary, but suddenly, my anxiety has prevented me from enjoying it.
I hoped that going through my hiking backpack might help me make sure I'm prepared for winter outdoor adventures - and it would be a great way to help others who want to try solo hiking, too.
I also pushed myself a bit to get on the trail at least once before the winter solstice, and it helped me get back in the groove. (A little.)
