There is a silent deception happening in churches today. A deception so subtle that many will only realize it when it’s too late. Jesus Himself warned about this in one of His most profound parables: the wheat and the tares. At first glance, they look the same, grow in the same field, and are surrounded by the same environment. But when the time of harvest comes, the difference between them becomes undeniable. One produces life, the other is worthless.
Now, ask yourself: Are you truly living as wheat in the kingdom of God, or could you be unknowingly growing as tares? The answer to this question isn’t just about church attendance, the knowledge you have, or even the religious acts you perform. It goes deeper. It is about the condition of your heart before God.
Many people believe that just being in church, listening to sermons, and participating in religious activities is enough. But Jesus said in Matthew 7:21, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” Let that sink in for a moment. Could it be that some people inside the church, who think they are on the right path, are actually deceived?
This deception is dangerous because it doesn’t come with an obvious warning. It doesn’t present itself as evil or rebellious. Instead, it disguises itself in the form of self-righteousness, complacency, and a surface-level faith that lacks true transformation. It is possible to live a life filled with religious routines, yet remain completely disconnected from the presence of God.
And here’s where things get even more serious. The enemy is working within the church—not through obvious attacks, but by planting seeds of deception among God’s people. He knows that if he can make someone think they are safe when they are actually lost, he has already won half the battle. And that is why this message is urgent.
You need to be sure of where you stand. This is not about pointing fingers at others; it’s about examining yourself. Are you truly bearing fruit for the kingdom of God, or are you just blending in with the crowd? The difference might seem small now, but when the final harvest comes, it will determine everything.
Today, you’re going to discover the truth. You’re going to learn how to recognize the signs, how to avoid deception, and most importantly, how to ensure that you are truly wheat in God’s kingdom. Because at the end of the age, when the separation happens, only those who have truly surrendered to God will be gathered into His barn, while the rest will be burned like worthless weeds.
This is a message that could change the course of your eternity. That’s why I urge you—stay until the end. Every part of this teaching is crucial, and missing any of it could mean missing out on the truth that could set you free.
