If you grow hardneck garlic - then at some point in the growing season, you'll have garlic scapes rising up out of the stem of the plant. Removing them help to make the bulbs bigger, and you can also use them in your cooking, or to make pesto. In this video I show when and how to harvest them - have a watch!
