Every winter, Canadian birds invade Maine. Crossbills, redpolls, pine siskins, pine grosbeaks, and evening grosbeaks storm the forest. Snow buntings gather on the blueberry fields. Scoters, eiders, and other Canadian sea ducks take over the Gulf of Maine.
