The Metal Virus was a wild time, Sonic was losing friends left and right to Eggman's diabolical virus that was spreading like wildfire. Eggman would have actually beaten Sonic if not for the fact that Starline sabotaged him and forced the two to join forces against Zavok and the deadly six.
