In the late 90s and early 2000s, you couldn't walk into a computer game store without seeing shelves full of those classic red and yellow Delta Force pc boxes. Developed by NovaLogic, it was a cult series that sought to add it's own twist to the FPS Tactical Shooter genre, by having massive large scale levels and fairly grounded military scenarios for the time. Eventually the games began to depict real life conflicts culminating in Delta Force: Black Hawk Down.
It was one of the first of it's kind. A cinematic military FPS. But despite it's parallels with modern shooters, it still has that rustic tactical shooter charm to it. So let's spend this Valentine's day jumping into a beloved cult classic.
