Cartoons always refine their art style the longer they go on! But sometimes, when you least expect it, a cartoon will switch things up completely. American Dragon: Jake Long, The New Batman Adventures, Ben 10 Alien Force, Omniverse and the reboot, the list goes on! A few weeks ago I broke down when the animation in a show can change for better or worse and all the reasons why, so today I wanna take a look at the other thing that can make or break a cartoon: its art style! Taking a gander at some of the most infamous changes, some changes throughout franchises, good or bad, the reasons why they happen and the impact they can leave on future projects!
