When To Apply Grub Control + What To Use And Why

As Spring comes to an end and Summer begins Beetles lay their eggs in the depths of our lawns only for new grub larvae to emerge and eat away at our grass root systems. Nobody wants their lawn destroyed by grubs and nobody really is excited about June bugs all over their property every Spring either so it's important to take the time this time of year to stop the life cycle in its tracks.

In this video, I go into great detail about the various types of grub control options on the market these days and explain how the timing of application varies depending on each option. I also explain the benefits and drawbacks of each type of grub preventer on the market before wrapping the video up with my plan for grub control through the 2021 lawn season.

In my opinion, GrubEx from Scotts and Grub Out from Lawn Box are two of the best options on the market at this time due to their availability, cost, impact on the environment, and active ingredients. Of these two however Grub Out is the product I'll be using this season because I have a desire to keep as many chemical applications out of my lawn as possible.
